I am a FEMALE first generation Labradoodle! 

My birth mom is a beautiful black lab named Annie Oakley (her grandpa is Cesar Chavez a 3 time American and Canadian National Field Trial Champ!), and my birth dad is a very handsome chocolate standard poodle named Rocky.  (http://www.labradoodlebaby.com/parents/parents-main.html scroll to the bottom!)

I was born December 5, 2005 in Oklahoma and I came to live with my new family in Minnesota in February of 2006.  I love my new home.  My new mom's name is Kelly and my new dad is Derek. 

My name is very special.  I am named after my mom's first dog Sam who was a large white male standard poodle.  My mom tells me he was a very special dog!  (Click this link to see pics of the great SAM! http://sammydoodle.sam.tripod.com)

Oh, and my Dad is a duck hunter and he is going to teach me how to hunt!  I am already practicing...

I have lots of great toys, but my favorite thing to do is spend some time duck training and retrieving for my dad.  He is so proud of me when I bring the bumper back to him!
 
I even went to CAMP in May to learn how to bring back live birds!

Nutrition:
 
I eat Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance Duck and Potato dog food.  Right now I eat about 4 cups a day.  Sometimes I also get some frozen canned Duck and Potato food in my Kong and of course a few treats during training. 
 
Because I will grow up to be about 60lbs, I need the extra nutrition that this food has to help me grow slow enough to not put stress on my little growing joints.  Puppy nutrition is VERY important!  Plus this food has special additives to make my coat extra soft and shiny!

*Snuggling with Mom.
 
*Playing fetch with Dad.
 
*Finding sticks in the back yard to chew on.
 
*Piling up my towels from my crate and next to the door in the center of the family room.
 
*Throwing and chasing my Kong for myself.
 
*Sleeping on my teddybear Mr. Snuggles.
